The Dresden "crime scene" in quick check

The Dresden "crime scene" in quick check
Excessively complicated disseminated evidence, negligent psychological speculation: The Dresden "crime scene" about a murder in the catering scene hooks in many places.

The scenario:

Scavenger hunt between suspected schizophrenia and protection racket: After the murder of a Dresden star gourmand the investigators Gorniak (Karin Hanczewski) and Winkler (Cornelia Gröschel) hints are thrown, which direct the suspicion on the apparently mentally disturbed wife and sometimes on Eastern European protection money presses. So it goes back and forth, back and forth.

The clou:

Because the crime story is supposed to be held in suspense between a medical file and a mafia plot, the audience must constantly change the investigative focus with the commissioners. What is supposed to force you to watch is sometime tedious, because you can not focus on any topic properly. An unnecessarily complicated crime thriller that does not really reward you for breathless clues at the end.

The picture:

The son of the mentally ill mother paints a letter to the Commissioner on the bus to help her to solve the case. The commissioner breezes against the window, photographs the letters with her cell phone and presents the picture to her colleagues in the area for analysis. What should be a sensitive approach to a disturbed child, is just awkward, lengthy and implausible.

The saying:

Head of department Schnabel (Martin Brambach) gives in the face of the competence chaos in his house once again the correctness spit: "Since one hand does not know what the other hand does Germany is in a state!" He is right; Everything really gets mixed up in this thriller.

The song:

"Schizophrenia" from The Beerquake. The Allstarband from members of the bands Pop Tarts, Gary and Tocotronic sings: "When all schizophrenics are together / the engineers have no more power over us". An ominously geraunter counter techno track, which does not occur in the "crime scene", but would fit in well, because this thriller even whispering speculative approaching the difficult topic, which he pretends to treat reputable.

The review:

4 out of 10 points. A thriller from the catering scene, that means in this case: mafia compote with psycho-speculoos.
